Aqua Spa has been tastefully designed to fit in with the natural environment of Fernando’s Bar, located next to our pool on the beachfront, it is housed in a shaded cabana with a large balcony offering panoramic views of the ocean.

Aqua Inns has an onsite PADI certified dive center offering courses as well as open water, discover scuba, advanced and rescue diver.

Snorkeling Trips to Pigeon Island is a real treat for visitors to Trincomalee, this can be arranged at the Dive center during season time and at reception out of season. Ticket includes the government national park entry, boat trip for a half day, all snorkels and fins as well as the boat trip from Uppuvelli.

Whale watching trips are undertaken by the dive center with Trincomalee being one of the largest natural deep sea is the ideal place to spot the magnificent Blue Whales and Dolphins.

Water enthusiasts can try their hand at water skiing, body boards, hire a kayak and even Luxury Boat Charter.

For guests enjoyment there is a horizon pool with sun loungers. The pool is also used for initial diving instruction by our on-site dive center. The pool is small but with a good depth, children need to be supervised at all times.





Sun Rise and Sun Set yoga sessions take place at Aqua, a perfect way to welcome the sunrise and start the day.

Uppevelli is one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful beaches and with the fine white sands and crystal clear waters it certainly warrants that recognition. Uppevelli is also an enclosed bay with a large stretch of shallow waters and no sudden drops making it generally a safe beach for young children.
